Manager, Medical Writing

Lisa Vadola joined Whitsell Innovations (WI) in 2013. In addition to leading a team of medical writers, she provides writing and project management support to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients for their clinical and regulatory document needs. She prepares submission and regulatory documents for global regulatory agencies in the therapeutic areas of oncology, immunology, infectious disease, dermatology, allergy, ophthalmology, neurology, and pain. Additionally, she has extensive experience in the preparation of manuscripts and grants. Dr. Vadola also leads in-house and external training sessions on regulatory and medical writing best practices.

Prior to joining WI, Dr. Vadola was a postdoctoral researcher in the Laboratory of Chemical Biology and Microbial Pathogenesis at the Rockefeller University where she investigated novel methods of inhibiting bacterial virulence. She received her PhD in Chemistry from Columbia University and her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Providence College.
