Whitsell Innovations, (WI), Inc., is pleased to announce that our President, Robin Whitsell, and three of our writers will be presenting at the 2016 AMWA Medical Writing & Communication Conference, Trends and Opportunities for Medical Communicators, October 5-8, 2016, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, Denver, Colorado.

Robin Whitsell, President, and Ann Winter-Vann, PhD, Senior Medical Writer and Consultant at WI and National Publications Administrator for AMWA and Past President of AMWA’s Carolinas Chapter, are co-presenting All Tech Considered.

“I’m pleased to present a technology-based session at this year’s conference,” says Dr. Winter-Vann.  “Our session should be very interactive, and I look forward to an engaging discussion with our audience.”

Kelly Kilibarda, PhD, Medical Writer and Consultant at WI, is presenting Touchdown! or Fumble? The Medical Writing-to-Publishing Handoff and she is leading a roundtable entitled “Health Literacy: Why It Matters, and How You Can Help.”

Lisa Vadola, PhD, Medical Writer and Consultant at WI, is leading a roundtable entitled “FDA’s Breakthrough Therapy Designation.”

In total, nine employees from WI will be attending the meeting. The American Medical Writers Association supports those in the medical communications field.  It provides opportunities to expand writers’ professional network, offer access to medical writing resources and publications, and host professional development workshops and seminars, including the annual conference.
