Whitsell Innovations (WI), Inc., will be one of the exhibitors at DIA 2017 Annual Meeting scheduled to be held from June 18-22, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois.
President and founder of WI, Robin Whitsell; Director of Business Development, Tom McPhatter; Medical Writer and Consultant, Kelly Kilibarda PhD; and Business Development Associate Natalie Becker will staff WI booth number 1751.
The team will be available to discuss WI’s medical writing experience and outsourcing best practices for pharmaceutical, biotech, and device companies including the documentation required for submissions to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and international regulatory bodies during the pre-clinical and clinical development process. They will be available to advise on electronic filings with the FDA (eCTD filing requirements) which became effective in May 2017. They will also address how industry clients use medical writers to share clinical data in manuscripts, training materials, and presentations.
“I’m pleased that once again WI will be exhibiting and presenting both a poster and an educational session,” says Ms. Whitsell. “The DIA annual meeting is an important gathering for life science corporations and the companies that support them. DIA creates a valuable opportunity for WI to share our expertise in medical and scientific writing.”
WI members will also be available to discuss the trends in the writing of clinical study reports (CSRs), the approaches to streamlining periodic adverse safety update reports (PADERs), and regulatory updates associated with the use of the period benefit-risk evaluation report (PBRER). They will also be available to discuss cGMP regulations and rest-of-world filings.
“Meeting new people at the DIA annual meeting is enjoyable and productive in reaching out for new partners,” says Ms. Becker.
DIA is a global volunteer and member community representing thousands of life science professionals working together to bring innovative, safe and effective medical products to patients. An association of more than 30,000 key stakeholders, DIA, founded as the Drug Information Association, builds productive relationships by bringing together regulators, life sciences professionals, academics and researchers, patient advocates and other influencers to exchange knowledge and collaborate in a neutral setting.
