Chief Technologist
Sean Whitsell, BSCE, joined Whitsell Innovations (WI) full time in 2017 as the Chief Technologist. Mr. Whitsell is leading the development of medical writing automation software using machine learning and artificial intelligence. Additionally, he implements and maintains all of WI’s IT systems.
Prior to joining WI full time, Mr. Whitsell was a Senior Technical Leader with Cisco Systems, Inc. He led the design, development, and productization of Cisco’s collaboration products including Jabber, WebEx, and Cisco Spark. In addition to creating collaboration software systems, Mr. Whitsell has an extensive background in information systems security and secure software development.
Mr. Whitsell has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He currently holds 8 patents with the United States Patent Office.
