Chapel Hill, NC – February 2021 – Whitsell Innovations, Inc. (WI), a full service medical and scientific writing company is pleased to announce that Senior Medical Writer and Manager Ann Winter-Vann, PhD is a recipient of the Drug Information Association (DIA) Medical Affairs and Scientific Communication (MASC) Forum Excellence in Service Award.
“I am truly honored to receive DIA’s 2021 Medical Affairs and Scientific Communications Forum Excellence in Service Award. It has been a pleasure to serve on the DIA-MASC planning committee for four years and to co-chair the committee for two years,” Dr. Winter-Vann said. “I always enjoy this conference, and I look forward to attending the meeting in March!”
DIA’s unique forum combines three different tracks covering medical communications, medical writing, and medical science liaisons, in order to provide “a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment directly affecting the daily activities of medical affairs and scientific communication professionals.”
“Ann has been an active and dedicated member of the DIA community, serving most recently as a speaker and chair for DIA’s Medical Affairs and Scientific Communications Forum. We thank her for her commitment to DIA’s mission, and we are pleased to congratulate her as one of our 2021 Excellence in Service Award Recipients,” said DIA Global Chief Executive Barbara Lopez Kunz.
WI has been involved in the DIA MASC Forum since 2012.
