FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Chapel Hill, NC – 14 October 2019 – Whitsell Innovations, Inc. President to attend Annual Program Committee Meeting for the Drug Information Association (DIA) Global Meeting

Robin Whitsell, Founder and President of Whitsell Innovations (WI), Inc., will attend and participate in a meeting of the DIA Global Annual Meeting Program Committee (AMPC) October 14 – 16, 2019 in Washington, DC.

The purpose of the AMPC meeting will be to plan and develop the overall content for the 2020 DIA Annual Meeting. Ms. Whitsell will be working with fellow committee members to specifically develop content for the Professional Development track.

“The Professional Development track spans individuals throughout their careers,” says Ms. Whitsell. “We are excited about fostering content that the breadth of participants at the DIA Annual Meeting can attend and appreciate. In addition, the PD track has encouraged diversity among our presenters and our topics by prioritizing the themes for those abstracts.”

A long-time speaker at the DIA Annual Meeting, Ms. Whitsell was invited to become a member of the AMPC in August 2018. She has also served as a speaker and program committee member for the specialty meeting for the DIA, the DIA Medical Affairs and Scientific Communications Forum.

DIA members and thought leaders work together to speed innovations in health care product development. Serving as an indispensable voice and platform, DIA member engagement is a key driver in the decision making process that can affect the product life cycle and the outcome for patients worldwide.

DIA is a global volunteer and member community representing thousands of life science professionals working together to bring innovative, safe and effective medical products to patients. An association of more than 30,000 key stakeholders, DIA, founded as the Drug Information Association, builds productive relationships by bringing together regulators, life sciences professionals, academics and researchers, patient advocates and other influencers to exchange knowledge and collaborate in a neutral setting.
